Learning is the best inspiration: English language camps for kids and teenagers
English + summer sun + new friends = in:sp:i:re camps
More than 3,000 kids and teenagers have learned English over the past 8 summers with our international camp team. But that’s not all! In addition, new friends were made, the inhibitions of speaking in a foreign language were put aside, rafts were built, marshmallows were roasted over the campfire, high rope courses were mastered, rockets were launched and children learnt English in the stunning Austrian countryside.
More than just learning…
Our goal at in:sp:i:re camps is for kids and teenagers to experience English as an everyday language. In order to learn the language far away from school stress and pressure for better grades, children use English not just in lessons but also during all camp activities.
Our international camp team
Most of our camp counsellors are English, Irish, American or Australian and have been working with us for several years. Nate, Maddy, Alistair, Adelaide or Chris: they all know how to bring across their mother tongue in an authentic and practical manner. In addition, they provide a lot of information on their home countries.
Every camp day is packed with excitement. In the morning we start with our English-workshops covering a broad variety of topics and in the afternoon all participants are outside – on the board for SUP, an adventurous afternoon in the woods, at the lake for swimming, to the World of Ice Giants in Werfen to mention just a few activities they’ll experience! In the evening we relax by the campfire, go on a scavenger hunt or party it up at the kids’ disco.
Venues with lots of leisure possibilities
Accommodation takes place in selected youth hotels in Austria or in the renowned Worksop College in England. All our sites are surrounded by a great natural environment and offer a wide range of sports and leisure activities – from swimming, SUP, high-rope courses, hiking, cycling to football, archery, wild water rafting, hockey or kayaking.
