Working at inspire English Camps gave me the opportunity to meet kids and adults from all over the world! Forming these friendships was incredible and I made so many memories that I know I will never forget. To teach such enthusiastic kids felt like a privilege and to do it in the mountains of Austria was an absolute dream. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with and we quickly became more like family than friends; I was made to feel comfortable from day one and any nerves I had felt previously were quickly forgotten. Prior to working with inspire, I had been thinking about going into teaching and the time I spent at camp only made me want to do so more, as well as giving me some excellent experience in both teaching and teamwork skills. I can honestly say that it was one of the best things I did in 2016 and would happily recommend it to anyone.

My summer working at inspire was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Alongside strengthening my teaching skills and working with a supportive team, I developed great relationships with my students and it was a privilege to watch them progress under my instruction. What’s more, I had the opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful places in Austria, boasting picturesque mountains and valleys that were perfect for an afternoon stroll. The range of activities and events hosted at camp remain some of my most cherished memories, and I hope to continue the experience this coming summer!

This summer was the second time that I had worked in the Austrian countryside and it was another incredibly fulfilling and fun experience! inspire is a very organised and professional company and they have made sure that you have everything you need from teaching materials and resources to extra curricular activities and even Austrian sweets and chocolates! Everyone bonded so well, and the friendships made during the summer far outlast the camps themselves and it really is a unique experience. The experience and knowledge I gained from the previous two summers there has really helped me further my career as an English teacher abroad and I loved every minute of it. If you’re looking for a rewarding and challenging experience, teaching enthusiastic and eager children from all over Europe in some truly stunning places, then I can’t recommend inspire enough – you won’t regret it!

I found the job through recommendation of a friend of mine that had done it in 2015 and it certainly did not disappoint. Teaching English in the beautiful Austrian countryside was a dream come true. With 100% support from Inspire for anything from teaching supplies, to lesson plans, to borrowing bikes, to good ‘craic’ humour from the rest of the team I was supplied with absolutely anything I could have needed. While working with an amazing team of like minded counsellors I found a settling in to be an absolute breeze. I needed to get some teaching experience for my degree and I couldn’t have imaged a more fantastic way to get it. I would highly recommend the position and can’t wait to return next summer.
